Description
An excellent new opportunity has arisen for a successful Business Development Manager to expand sales, manage existing accounts and develop new business in a range of hair care / salon products, working for one of the true market leaders. This role is to sell the company’s most prestigious high – end brands.
This rapidly expanding and ambitious company was established over 40 years ago, and has a very enviable reputation in the market place. They sell all the popular brands such as Tigi, Fudge, Wella, Loreal, Matrix, Goldwell, Joico and many more. The company is led by a focused management team, and product and sales training is second to none.
They are now seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, confident and successful Business Development Manager with business to business or FMCG sales experience, and a proven track record in new business development and / or account management.
JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager
AREA: North West, North, Merseyside, Liverpool, Manchester, Cheshire, Flintshire
BASED: On patch
BASIC: c £25k dep on exp
OTE: c £40k + incentives + car

THE ROLE
The role will be a mix of new business development, calling on new salons and opening new accounts. Also to successfully manage the existing key accounts and to develop these salons further. You will work to regular call cycles and also be involved in the training and educating of the salon managers and staff, as well as brand merchandising and attending seminars and exhibitions. This will be a key appointment for the company as you will be selling some of the most prestigious brands in the industry.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
A proven track record in business to business, FMCG or retail sales is required, and experience of new business development and account management. Product experience is not required as full training is given, but an interest in or a willingness to learn the hair care industry would be advantageous.
The Business Development Manager must have a stable background, be ambitious and be looking for a long-term career move.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
