AREA SALES MANAGER - CHEMICAL DISTRIBUTION - REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
My client is looking for a successful Area Sales Manager to expand sales and manage existing accounts within the Chemical Distribution Industry. Established for over 50 years the company are one of the main distributors selling into the Water Treatment, Cosmetic, Petrochemical, Engineering and Chemical Industries with a product range that includes Acids, Alkalis, Fats, Water Treatment Chemicals, Dyes, Pigments, Resins and Solvents.
You will need to have at least 3 years business to business sales experience and have knowledge of the industry, although training will be given to the right candidate.
JOB TITLE: AREA SALES MANAGER
AREA: North West, Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Liverpool, etc
BASED: As Above
BASIC SALARY: c£25, 000 plus benefits
BENEFITS: Car, mobile, laptop, fuel allowance, pension and BUPA.
THE ROLE
Covering the North West the role is a mix between new business development and existing account management. You will be dealing with buyers, directors and managing directors so having experience dealing with all levels of personnel will be an advantage. Working 4 days a week in the field selling face to face, and 1 day in the office or home making appointments and chasing leads.
