BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - CABLE & CABLE ACCESSORIES
Established for over 20 years the company is a key supplier to Electrical Wholesale, Fire & Security, Satellite & Aerial, CCTV, Access Control and Data Markets. The company is now seeking a highly successful, hungry and self motivated Business Development Manager to operate at national account level selling cables and accessories such as coaxial, alarm and fibre optic cables, connectors and adaptors etc.
The company is looking for someone who can open the door to new business and develop business they are currently generating from a number of large existing accounts.
You will be required to maximise revenues / margin contribution from existing and new electrical resellers, but also through a range of larger end user trade prospects, via professional sales and account management activities to achieve set monthly and quarterly financial & productivity goals.

BASIC: up to £40K
OTE: £50K to £55K

THE ROLE
Covering the UK and the ROI the role will be a split between national accounts and new business development. The company is looking for a professional person who can take on the responsibility for helping them broaden the product portfolio and the company range. There is career progression within the company and a chance to become part of the senior management team. You must have a stable background and looking for a long term career move.

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED;
A good sales background and a successful proven sales track record is reguired.
Knowledge of the industry would be desirable, although full product training will be given.
The business development manager must have a stable background, be ambitious and looking for a long term career move.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
