MARKETING MANAGER - CABLES AND ACCESSORIES - MARKETING EXECUTIVE
This is an excellent opportunity for a Marketing professional to work for one of the UKs leading Cable Manufacturers and Suppliers.
With turnover exceeding 15M p.a, a brand new distribution facility the company is one of the leading providers of electrical cable, accessories and associated products.
The company is very active in a number of industries including Telecoms, Marine, Power Generation, Construction, Electrical Wholesale, Satellite TV and the OEM market.
Products supplied include Automotive Cables, Coaxial Cable, Defence Standard Cable, High Temperature Cable, Lighting Cable, Mains Flexible Cable,
Railway Cable, Renewable Energy Cable, Security Cable, Telecoms Cables etc.
With strong expansion plans taking place they are now looking for a Marketing Manager to help maintain and continue to build on its excellent reputation as a supplier of quality products and services to industry.
THE ROLE
Implement strategic and tactical product plans to deliver the overall company vision and strategy, including product lifecycle and commercial, technical and marketing aspects of product offering.
Review with the team the pricing strategy to ensure margins are optimised with growth.
Deliver brand and channel development to ensure business growth
Support the delivery of product concepts that enhance competitive edge in the UK and international markets
Manage marketing spend in media, PR, merchandising, trade shows and product literature
Drive business growth by recommending, agreeing and implementing effective strategies to increase brand awareness amongst the customer base
THE PERSON
Educated to degree level or equivalent with experience as a marketing professional, participating in a cross functional senior team, in a B2B environment, preferably in a related industry with cable and associated product experience
The ability to rapidly learn and assimilate complex technical and financial information to effectively and quickly contribute to business direction and decision making
Dynamic, self motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to make an immediate and positive impact on our business
Excellent communications ability, including the ability to formulate and present a marketing plan
The ability to work on multiple projects at one time, the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Good knowledge of marketing techniques
